Pashey Bella was created in 2005 by sisters Talia Pashey Decoite and Tehani Bella Friesen.  Born and raised in Maui, Hawaii, they grew up surfing, paddling and exploring the islands. Talia and Tehani find inspiration from their family heritage, travels and lifestyle.

Talia

In 2005, at the age of twelve, Talia started making jewelry.  Shortly after, her Dad encouraged to start selling her creations. She walked into a boutique in Paia, Maui with her earrings hanging off the side of a jar full of shells along with a look book of her designs, the boutique bought four pairs.  That was the start of Pashey Bella Jewelry.
Talia continues to design jewelry and runs the business side of things.

They decided to learn how to sew their own.  After a year learning and going through a fashion design course they were making their own swimwear.  It wasn't long before all their friends were asking for one, Pashey Bella swimwear was created.
