Pashey Bella was created by sisters Talia Pashey Decoite and Tehani Bella Friesen (formerly Gangini’s). Born and raised on Maui, they grew up competing in surfing and paddle boarding events which aloud them to travel from island to island as well as the other tropical locations around the world. In 2005 at the age of twelve, Talia started making jewelry inspired by the ocean. Shortly after, her dad (John Gangini) encouraged her to start selling some of her pieces at local shops. Talia walked into a boutique in Paia with her earrings hanging off the side of a jar full of sea shells and a look book of her designs. The boutique bought four pairs of earrings and the girls have been making jewelry ever since.
