The Ho’okipa necklace tells a story of child-like passion and persistence. Years ago, when she was young and school-aged, the owner and founder of Pashey Bella, Talia Decoite, would walk the beaches of Ho’okipa beach on Maui. On her walks through Ho’okipa, Talia would search for seashells and sea glass in the sand to take home later and turn into jewelry. She eventually fell in love with the art of jewelry making and, as a young girl, found herself taking her jewelry to local shops in hopes of selling a few pieces to buy new bikinis. What started as an enjoyable passion turned into what is now Pashey Bella. The story of the sea glass-made Ho’okipa necklace is inspired by the reminder that masterpieces often wash up on the beaches of love and passion.
The Ho’okipa necklace is made with 14k gold-filled chain and wire with a approx 25-51mm x 16-30mm turquoise sea glass set in 24k gold vermeil (gold over sterling). This necklace is 30 inches long. These pendants will vary in characteristics and in size.
